National Weather Service Forecasters remain confident in their predictions that much of southern Wisconsin will see the first measurable snowfall of the 2023 autumn season on Halloween.
In the Sheboygan County area, snow is forecast to begin as showers sometime around 6 a.m. on Tuesday, but rain may mix in briefly after 4 p.m. Less than an inch of snow is predicted to accumulate overall, with the added possibility of a bit more in our eastern extremes thanks to the influence of Lake Michigan.
With Trick-or-Treating largely oriented on the 4-7 p.m. timeline locally, conditions look to be quite spooky, indeed, with howling northerlies at 15-20 miles an hour, gusting over 30 mph at times during those times. Along with temperatures limited to the mid 30s, windchill temperatures in the mid 20s will best be managed by trick-or-treaters with something nice and warm beneath the costumes on the outside.
