What’s being termed a “network incident” has interrupted several services at Wisconsin-based Kwik Trip stores, which operate more than 800 locations in Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, South Dakota and Iowa. The incident has affected the company’s apps, reward system and phone service, which have only performed intermittently for the past week.
The company released public statements on its facebook page, stating that rewards, in-store redemptions and the Kwik Rewards Plus payment systems were all affected, and efforts were focused on returning normal operations as soon as possible. The Friday statement also said that for “Kwik Rewards Plus guests unable to make payments, we will work with you in resolving these and correct any potential late penalties assessed by Kwik Trip.”
