MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers stifled the St. Louis Cardinals 3-0 to win their series at American Family Field on Thursday afternoon.
Corbin Burnes got the start and struck out four batters over four innings while Julio Teheran earned the win after allowing just one hit over four innings of relief.
Christian Yelich went two-for-three with an RBI while William Contreras also drove in a run.
Ethan Small notched his first career save in the ninth as Milwaukee improved to 90-69.
The Brewers will host the Chicago Cubs in the final series of the regular season beginning Friday night. Pregame on WHBL gets underway at 6:35.
