MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers edged the St. Louis Cardinals 3-2 at American Family Field on Wednesday night.
The Brew Crew trailed 2-0 in the bottom of the sixth inning until Tyrone Taylor and Rowdy Tellez each drove in runs to tie the game. Taylor stepped up to the plate in the following inning and crushed an RBI double to give Milwaukee the lead.
Devin Williams notched his 36th save of the season in the ninth to complete the comeback.
The Brew Crew have already clinched the NL Central division and are 89-69 on the season.
Masyn Winn drove in a run for St. Louis, which is last in the division at 69-89.
The rubber match of the three game series takes place Thursday afternoon with pregame coverage starting at 2:35. The game will be heard on 106.5 The Buzz as WHBL will be carrying the Packer game.
