The list of funding requests for City of Sheboygan Capital Improvement Program over the next five years has been submitted for review when the City Plan Commission meets this afternoon at 4 p.m. The direct referral from the Finance Director is a wish list by City departments for items they’d like funded from 2024 through 2028 and, if approved as-is, would represent spending a total of $184,134,030 during that time.
Among the items on the list are construction of a Gymnasium at Uptown Social, a $1 million roof replacement at the Mead Public Library, $14-1/2 million to construct Fire Station 3 and remodel Station 2, and $36,626,400 in requests for streets, repairs and improvements from the Engineering department.
Following review by the Plan Commission the Common Council could get its first look at those spending plans this coming Monday night.
