ST. LOUIS, MO (WHBL) – Tyrone Taylor hit two home runs to lead the Milwaukee Brewers to an 8-2 victory over the Cardinals in St. Louis on Wednesday night.
Taylor crushed a solo homer in the fourth inning and followed up with another solo shot in the ninth. Josh Donaldson chipped in with a three-run homer in the first inning.
Adrian Houser earned the win after giving up just one run while striking out four batters over six innings as the Brewers improved to 86-66. Milwaukee now leads the Cubs by 7 games in the NL Central.
Richie Palacios and Lars Nootbaar each drove in a run for St. Louis.
