
Marilyn Sue Heiden, age 74, of Plymouth, WI, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2023 at the
Waterford of Plymouth.
She was born on March 10, 1949 in Plymouth, WI, a daughter of the late Sheldon and Marie
(Vanderploeg) Parrish.
Marilyn attended Plymouth Grade Schools and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1967.
She attended Milwaukee Nursing School where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
On July 11, 1970, she married Howard Heiden. She worked at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Hospital as
an RN for over 40 years before retiring in 2015.
Marilyn was a member of Saron UCC and was in the Church Choir. She enjoyed watching TV especially
Wheel of Fortune, gardening, working on the lawn, camping, and spending time with family.
Survivors include her husband, Howard; two sons, Christopher (Tisha) Heiden and Eric (Laurie) Heiden;
two grandchildren, Elliot and Nichole; two sisters, Carol (Ronald) Lemke and Jane (Ron) Hayek; sisters-in-
law, Phyllis Parrish, Dianne Parrish and Marge (Bob) Brown; brother-in-law, Steven (Billy Jean) Heiden;
and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Norman and Glenn Parrish.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday (October 8) at Amore Banquet Hall, 18 W Mill Street,
Plymouth, from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Inurnment will be at Saron UCC Cemetery in Johnsonville.
