MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers struggled on offense in a 2-0 defeat to the Miami Marlins American Family Field on Wednesday night.
Colin Rea was charged with the loss after giving up one run in four-plus innings of relief.
Carlos Santana got two of Milwaukee’s seven hits while Andruw Monasterio tallied the team’s only extra base hit with a double.
Braxton Garrett earned the win for Miami after striking out seven batters over six scoreless innings.
The Brew Crew are still first in the NL Central at 81-64, four games ahead of the Cubs.
