Freddy Peralta earned the win after giving up one run while striking out nine batters over six-plus innings. The bullpen, meanwhile, didn’t allow a hit for the rest of the game as Devin Williams notched his 33rd save of the season.
Josh Donaldson crushed his first career homer with the Brew Crew, who now lead the NL Central by four games over the Cubs.
The Brewers and Marlins continue their four-game series Wednesday night with pregame coverage beginning at 6:05 on WHBL.
