Lydia Miller, 95 years old, passed August 24, 2023.
She was born in Sheboygan on October 23, 1927, to the late Henry and Alvina (Gross) Richter, and
married William Harvey Miller after World War II.
They farmed in Ada, WI, and later moved to Plymouth where Lydia worked at Borden’s Cheese. They
had 3 children: Michael, Lois, and Jeffrey.
Lydia was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. She loved to sew, garden, volunteer at
church, and help any family and friends who needed help. She had a knack to fix anything that needed
fixing.
She is survived by: Daughter, Lois (David) Cahoy; Son, Jeffrey (Sandy) Miller; Daughter-in-law, Lynn
Miller; Grandchildren: John (Kerri) Cahoy, Ann (Michael) Piehl, and Amy Cahoy; Great-grandchildren:
Beth, Tori, Katy, and Ali Piehl, and Ryan and Amber Cahoy; As well as many nieces and nephews.
Lydia was preceded in death by: Her parents; Husband, William; Son, Michael; Brothers: Gottfried
Richter and Henry Jr. (Mary) Richter; and Sister, Ruth (Ray) Hendrickse.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday (August 31, 2023) at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth.
Visitation will take place from 3-4pm, with a service to follow at 4:00pm. Entombment will be in
Greenlawn Memorial Park in the Town of Sheboygan.
