MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers swept the San Diego Padres and extended their win streak following a 10-6 victory in the finale from American Family Field on Sunday afternoon.
Rowdy Tellez, Sal Frelick and Mark Canha each drove in a pair of runs as part of a seven-run sixth inning. William Contreras went yard while Bryse Wilson earned the win in relief after pitching four shutout innings.
The Brew Crew have won eight straight games and are first in the NL Central at 73-57.
The Brewers head to Chicago for a three game series against the Cubs. Chicago is holding down second place in the NL Central, four games behind Milwaukee.
