Several road projects in Sheboygan County will be addressed this coming week by crews from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
Cable guard replacement is scheduled to take place on I-43 northbound at Orchard Road between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. on both Wednesday and Thursday, August 30 and 31. The DOT plans to close a single lane during those repairs.
A similar schedule is planned for the northbound lanes of I-43 between Wilson-Lima Road and County Highway “V”, also on Wednesday and Thursday between 7 and 4, and also employing a single lane closure.
Maintenance crews are also planning to repair the railroad tracks that cross Highway 57 between County Highways “C” and “PP” near Plymouth on Wednesday, August 30 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Various lanes will need to be closed during that operation.
