MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers swept the Twins following an 8-7 walk-off victory in the finale at American Family Field on Wednesday afternoon.
The Crew trailed 7-6 in the bottom of the 10th until Willy Adames singled-home the game-tying run. Brice Turang then stepped up and poked an infield single to score the game-winning run.
Adames also homered for the second straight game as Milwaukee overcame a three-run deficit in this game.
The Brew Crew took both games and improved to 70-57. Milwaukee is first in the NL Central and has won five straight games.
The Brewers have Thursday off before hosting the San Diego Padres this weekend. Game one is Friday night.
