(WHBL) – An explosion in a food truck on Sheboygan’s north side Monday night left three people seriously injured. Sheboygan Fire Batallion Chief Chase Longmiller says they responded around 5:50 last night after getting a report of a fire in a food truck in the 2100 block of North 3rd Street. When crews arrived, the fire was extinguished, but three people had been severely burned. They were given advanced life support on scene and then rushed to a local hospital. The cause of the explosion is under investigation, but the Fire Department wants to remind people that when using gas for cooking to make sure all safety precautions are in place.
