LOS ANGELES, CA (WHBL) – Rookie Bobby Miller tossed six innings of one-run ball as the Dodgers defeated the Mikwayjee Brewers 6-2 in Los Angeles to kick off a three-game series on Tuesday night.
Miller gave up just one run and struck out four to improve to 7-2. Ryan Yarbrough closed out the victory with a three-inning save in relief.
Kike [[ KEE-kay ]] Hernandez and Miguel Rojas both knocked in two runs for Los Angeles, which has won nine straight games. The Dodgers improved to 72-46.
Adrian Houser was charged with his fourth loss after surrendering four runs, three earned, over five-and-a-third frames. Carlos Santana homered as Milwaukee fell to 65-55.
Game two of the series takes place Wednesday night with pregame coverage on WHBL beginning at 8:35.
