Motorists in Sheboygan County will again need to pay attention in work zones as guard rail repairs are done on three area highways.
DOT maintenance crews will be working on those rails on eastbound Highway 23 between County “TT” and the Sheboygan River on Wednesday. Another eastbound stretch of 23 will have repairs done at Highway 67 at Plymouth on Thursday.
Southbound Highway 42 in the Town of Sheboygan will have guard rail repair operations conducted between Professional Drive and Vanguard Drive on Thursday, and Southbound Highway 57 will have repairs to the guard rails between Waldo and Clearview Road, also on Thursday.
All work is scheduled to take place between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., and various lane closures will be in place. As always, the DOT is urging drivers to be aware and slow down in work zones for the safety of workers and motorists alike.
