CHICAGO, IL (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers swept the White Sox following a 7-3 victory in the series finale from Chicago on Sunday afternoon.
Freddy Peralta earned the win after surrendering four hits while striking out six batters over six scoreless innings.
Carlos Santana blasted a three-run homer while Christian Yelich drove in a pair of runs on a ninth-inning single.
Milwaukee is on a four-game win streak and is first in the NL Central at 65-54, now 3 and a half games ahead of both the Reds and Cubs.
Elvis Andrus knocked in two runs for Chicago, which fell to 47-72. The White Sox are fourth in the AL Central.
The Brewers have Monday off, then will head to Los Angeles for a three-game series against the Dodgers beginning Tuesday night.
