The City of Plymouth will be a musical mecca on Friday, providing the opportunity to take in some of the best blues and jazz music in the region, while benefiting the hub city’s center for all things of the arts.
The 19th annual Cheese Capital Jazz & Blues Crawl for the arts takes place Friday from 4:30 p.m. until midnight, featuring 11 bands at the Plymouth Arts Center in the courtyard and the greatroom, as well as at another seven Plymouth clubs and restaurants. Eleven bands in all will be playing during the event.
Wristbands, at $10 each, provide admission to all events and also serve as a passport to ride the trolly between all venues from 6:30 until 10:30 p.m. Besides the PAC, participating venues include Antonio’s, PJ Campbell’s at the Depot, 52 Stafford Irish Guesthouse & Restaurant, Big Billy’s Bar & Grill, Plank Road Distillery, Plymouth Tap, and Wild Shots Pub & Grill.
A silent auction to benefit the PAC offers original fine art, gift baskets, gift certificates and unique gifts donated by PAC members, friends, and area businesses, with bids ending at 9 p.m., and bidders need not be present to win.
