While the hottest weather of the summer so far is making headlines in Wisconsin, today won’t be so oppressive around here.
A heat advisory was posted for Wisconsin southwest of a line from St. Croix County to Walworth County, but the remainder won’t be experiencing the extreme heat. South of that line, temperatures in the 90s and high humidity will push the heat index to around 100 degrees today between about noon and 8 p.m. However for those north of that line…including us…things won’t be as bad. Temperatures in the eastern part of Sheboygan County near the lake will reach the low 80s, while temperatures approaching 90 are more likely in the western reaches.
Tomorrow could be much the same, but thunderstorms will herald the arrival of a cold front Friday night, which should make for pleasant weather over the weekend.
