Daniel J. Wicka, age 62, of Sheboygan passed away peacefully on July 18, 2023, surrounded by
his family at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Center.
He was born in Winona, MN on October 1, 1960, to Daniel and Glenadine (Hanson) Wicka. He
attended North High School. Dan served the Sheboygan and surrounding areas for more than
25 years in car sales. In 1981, Dan received a state heroism award.
Dan enjoyed any genre of music and attending concerts, the Minnesota Vikings and Twins, and
always seemed to have a lucky side pulling handles. Above all, Dan was a family man and loved
to spend time and make memories with those he loved. He will be dearly missed by all who
knew him.
Dan was a fighter and never complained once. Even fighting cancer for many years, Dan never
lost his sense of humor. His smile could light up a room.
He is survived by his mother, Glenadine Wicka; the love of his life, Debbie Osuch; step-children,
Logan (Sarah) Osuch and their children, Natalie and Oliver and Lindsay (Tim) Streets; sister, Deb
(Joe) Weiler and their children, Holly (Kevin) Beine, Maxx (Dana) Liebig, Katrina (Pat) Hanson,
Zach Weiler; sister, Barb (Pat) Campbell and their children, Karley and Kasey Campbell, and
sister, Jackie (Rob) Hempstead and their children, Nathan (Jessica) Hempstead and Savannah
(Jesse) Brake; great-nieces and nephews, Sophia, Whitley, Alfred, Jasper and Sable; aunt and
uncle, Judie Miller and Don Evanson; other family and friends further survive.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel and his step-son Adam Osuch.
A Memorial Service for Dan will take place at 3:00 PM on Friday, July 21, 2023, at Zimmer
Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd. in Howards Grove with Pastor
Tina Kieckhafer officiating. Family will greet visitors on Friday at the funeral home from 1:00 PM
until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Dan’s name.
The family would like to thank both the staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and
Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic for the excellent care and support given during this time. They
would also like to thank visiting nurse, Jodi for taking such good care of Dan.
