God called Thomas William Beringer, 68 of Plymouth Wisconsin home to Heaven on July 10, 2023. He
was born on July 16, 1954, son of Warren and Dorothy Beringer.
He attended St. John Lutheran grade school and Plymouth High School (Bozo.) After graduating, Tom
worked various jobs including Joe Van Horn and Gilson’s. He began selling vehicles in 1977 for Cornell
Motors, Plymouth WI. Mike Burkart and he combined their sales efforts early on and became a great
partnership, real estate in 1988 and the dealership starting in 1996. Tom received many top sales
awards. He was in Ford’s 300/500 Club as one of the top salesmen in the country!
He was a lifetime member of St. John Lutheran Church, Plymouth. Tom and his son Ryan had a blast
racing go-carts for 15 years winning many trophies. His passion was hunting, fishing, and racing with his
family and friends. Tom enjoyed iRacing with people from around the world. He was an avid cyclist
hitting the Wisconsin trails. Tom was never afraid to talk to anyone, often starting off the conversation
with “HEY BUDDY.” He was very generous, quietly helping anyone in need. His greatest joy was being
Papa to two precious granddaughters, the teasing and silliness will be sorely missed. Tom was a proud
friend of Bill W. sober for 35 years.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Lori; daughter Amy Kearns (Noah) granddaughters June
and Lyra of IN, son Ryan (Deanna) of CO: siblings Daniel Beringer (Gloria) of MI, Ann Rooker-Hansmann
(David) of WI, David Beringer (Christine) of NC; sisters in-law Sandy Hau (Ken) of WI, Cheryl Galloway of
WI, brother in-law Mike Galloway (Donna, partner) of WI, along with many loved nieces, nephews and
family. Tommy had lifelong friends that he cherished and will leave a big hole in many lives.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth.
Visitation will take place from 1:00-4:30pm with services to follow. Inurnment will be on Thursday, July
27 th at Greenbush Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Tom’s name.
