Think You Know the Packers? Now You Can Prove It – With a College Certificate!

This is probably one of those “Only in Wisconsin” things…or maybe “Only in Green Bay”.  But from where a lot of fans stand, an encyclopedic knowledge of the Green Bay Packers should be worthy of something beyond being crowned the trivia champion at the local watering hole.  So why not become college-certified?

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, in collaboration with the 13-time World Champion Green Bay Packers, is offering a new “History of the Green Bay Packers” noncredit certificate program.  The eight-session course will be taught via live Zoom sessions by Brent Hensel, curator of the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame.  The courses will take students from the origins of American Football through the Lambeau years, the Lombardi Dynasty and examine the Packers-Bears rivalry among other facets of the football franchise.  Those who take the course can earn an exclusive UW-Green Bay digital badge distinguished by the Packers “G” and will receive admission to the Packers Hall of Fame.
