Patricia “TC” Ann Erickson Manthey, age 78, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2023 at the
Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
She was born on October 20, 1944 in Monroe, WI, a daughter of the late Virgil and Ruth (Marty)
Erickson.
Pat attended Bem Country School and graduated from New Glarus High School in 1962. After High
School, she attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where she earned her Business Education
Degree.
It was on June 15, 1968, that Pat was united in marriage to Gary Manthey at the York Memorial
Lutheran Church in Blanchardville, WI. They then resided in Elkhart Lake. Gary preceded her in death on
June 5, 2001. After Gary passed, Pat moved to Plymouth so she was close to family.
Pat taught at Howards Grove Schools, was a teacher’s aide at the Elkhart Lake Schools, and volunteered
at Plymouth Elementary Schools. She also worked at Road America in Elkhart Lake and helped with Boy
Scouts.
She loved gardening, bird watching, knitting, crocheting, cross stitching, puzzles, angels and cats.
Survivors include her two sons, Andrew (Bonnie) Manthey of Shawano and Timothy (Heather) Manthey
of Plymouth; grandchildren, Isaiah, Hannah, Caleb, Abigail, Samuel Manthey all of Shawano, Logan, and
Elizabeth Manthey both of Plymouth; sister, Vicki Meyer of Belleville, WI; brothers, Kenneth (Jeannie)
Erickson of Glendale, Donald “Wally” (Jean) Erickson of Colorado Springs, CO, and Ronald (Rose)
Erickson of New Glarus and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers-in-law: Donald Meyer and Richard
(Bernice) Manthey and sister-in-law: Judy Pearl.
Funeral services will be held on Friday (July 21, 2023) at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth at
12:00 Noon. Rev. William McCaskill will officiate. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Elkhart Lake.
Visitation will be held on FRIDAY morning (July 21) at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth from 10:00
A.M. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Pat’s name.
