A Plymouth man was seriously injured in a crash involving a motorcycle near Plymouth last night.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office says the 57-year-old man was eastbound on Highway 23 near County Highway P at around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday when his motorcycle was rear-ended by another vehicle, causing the man to lose control of his cycle and crash. He was rushed to St. Nicholas Hospital by ambulance but had to be airlifted by Flight for Life due to his injuries.
The vehicle who struck the motorcycle from behind was driven by a 40-year-old woman from Plymouth. She was cited for Inattentive Driving and Following Too Closely. There’s no word on the motorcyclists’ condition this morning.
