Fond du Lac County authorities are still searching for a Manitowoc Man who’s facing numerous charges after fleeing officers, totaling his car and apparently breaking his leg in the process.
24-year-old Nathan Holan was released on $250 cash bond awaiting a hearing in Marathon County on charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver – Methamphetamine, and was already on probation for armed robbery. He’s now being sought under a warrant from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and once arrested, will face new charges of Fleeing/Eluding, Possession with Intent to Deliver – Fentanyl, Possession of Suboxone, Possession of Oxycodone, First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Bail Jumping, and Resisting.
The new charges stem from an attempted traffic stop for speeding on Highway 49 by a Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Deputy on Friday morning. Holan didn’t stop and sped away into the Village of Brandon where he crashed into a utility pole, totaling the vehicle from which he fled on foot, leaving behind a large amount of narcotics, paraphernalia and cash.
A search with a drone and K9 was unsuccessful but officers contacted Holan’s mother, who owned the vehicle, and who told them that her son had called telling her he was unable to move and hiding with a broken leg. After pinging his cellphone and conducting a second unsuccessful search Holan’s mother said that Nathan had contacted her again, making it clear he would not cooperate or get assistance. Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office at (920) 929-3390, or to leave an anonymous tip on the Fond du Lac County Law Enforcement TIP LINE at (920) 906-4777.
