MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – Mike Tauchman led the Chicago Cubs over the Milwaukee Brewers 4-3 in NL Central action at American Family Field on Wednesday night.
The Cubs designated hitter hit a two-run double and scored the game-winning run in the top of the ninth to spark the comeback.
Michael Rucker earned the win with two scoreless innings of relief. The Cubs have won two straight to improve to 40-45.
Brewers reliever Devin Williams was charged with the loss and his second blown save after allowing three runs in the ninth.
Willy Adames hit his 13th home run of the season as the Brewers fell to 46-41.
