FLUSHING, NY (WHBL) – The New York Mets knotted up their series with the Milwaukee Brewers with a 7-2 win from Flushing on Tuesday night.
David Peterson got the win after surrendering just five hits while striking out five batters over six scoreless innings.
Julio Teheran suffered the loss after giving up all seven runs over five-plus innings.
Brian Anderson drove in both runs for Milwaukee, which fell to 41-38. The Brewers are back in second place in the NL Central after the Cincinnat Reds won on Tuesday.
