CLEVELAND, OH (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Guardians 5-4 in extra innings on Sunday to win the three-game series in Cleveland.
Owen Miller crushed a double to score the go-ahead run in the top of the 10th inning. Elvis Peguero fanned two batters in the bottom half of the frame to secure the series win, as the Crew took two of three from Cleveland.
Milwaukee improved to 40-37 and trails the Reds by half-a-game for first place in the NL Central.
The Brewers head to Flushing, New York, to begin a four-game series against the Mets.
