MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers swept the Pittsburgh Pirates and regained the division lead following a 5-2 victory in the series finale at American Family Field on Sunday.
Trevor Megill earned the win after pitching a scoreless inning of relief while Raimel Tapia drove in the go ahead run in the top of the eighth inning.
Luis Urias drove in two more runs to secure the win for Milwaukee. The Brew Crew improved to 37-34 and are now in first place in the NL Central.
The Brewers welcome the Arizona Diamondbacks to Milwaukee for a three-game series beginning Monday night. Pregame coverage on WHBL will get underway at 6:35.
