MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Baltimore Orioles rallied against the Brewers and avoided a sweep with a 6-3 win in Milwaukee on Thursday afternoon.
Kyle Bradish got the start for Baltimore and struck out 10 batters while allowing three runs over five innings. Keegan Akin earned the win after pitching an inning-and-a-third of scoreless relief.
Gunnar Henderson blasted a two-run homer for the Orioles in the eighth inning while Adam Frazier doubled-home a pair of runs in the ninth. Baltimore scored all of its runs over the final three innings.
Willy Contreras went two-for-four with a double for Milwaukee, which blew a 3-0 lead in this game.
Interleague play continues for the Brewers as they’ll face off against the Oakland A’s Friday night in game-one of a three-game weekend series at American Family Field.
