Flight for Life was called to a serious crash on Highway 57 at County Highway “A” near Adell on Wednesday afternoon which injured three persons.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff says it was shortly after 4pm when a 22-year-old man from Plymouth failed to stop for the stop sign on “A” and slammed into a northbound vehicle being driven by an 82-year-old man from Belgium. That man had to be airlifted by Flight for Life helicopter for treatment. A passenger in his car – his wife – and the other driver were also injured and transported to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Highway 57 needed to be closed down by Sheriff’s Deputies, and the 22-year-old Plymouth man was ticketed for Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign as well as for Unreasonable and Imprudent Speed.
