Bob V.W. Thomack, 92, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away Thursday morning, June 8, 2023 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice surrounded by his family.
Born March 27, 1931, in Neenah, WI, Bob was a son of the late Paul and Anna Ernst Thomack. He attended Neenah area schools and graduated from Neenah High School in 1949. He continued his education at the U.W. Madison. On November 27, 1954, he was united in marriage to Janet G. Parker at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Neenah. He then went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957 as a First Lieutenant, stationed in Germany. Bob and Janet were married for 56 years before Janet preceded him in death on July 10, 2011.
Bob owned and operated Senior Insurance Solutions in Sheboygan for 27 years until his retirement in 2014. He previously worked at American Can Corp in Neenah and the corporate offices of Thomas Industries in both Sheboygan and Louisville, KY. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he sang in the choir and served as the sexton for many years. He was an avid cribbage player and contender.
He is survived by his children, Julie (Scott) Felbab, Sheboygan Falls, Scott Thomack, Sheboygan, Stephanie (Keith) Kogler, Sheboygan and John (Patti) Thomack, Kohler; ten grandchildren, Jessica (Ashleigh) Grosshuesch, Sheboygan, Rachel Kogler, Sheboygan, Rick (Nicole) Kogler, MN, Michael (Jackie) Kogler, WI, Anna (Brian) Myers, VA, Benjamin Felbab, Sheboygan Falls, Lindsay (Trish) Thomack, Sheboygan, Cassie (Jay) Pribek, Brookfield, Emily Thomack, Milwaukee and Molly Thomack, Dallas, TX; great grandchildren, Scarlet, Harper, Grace, Leah, Leo, Ava, Finn, Rowyn, and Jagger; his sisters, Marjorie Winarski, Neenah, Jeanette Prey, Neenah, and Sandra (Randall) Popp, Neenah; sister-in-law, Marilyn Thomack, FL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is further survived by his faithful companion, Huxley.
Besides his parents and his wife, Janet, he was preceded in death by his sister, Gertrude Wilkes; and a brother, Wilmer Thomack.
Funeral services will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 824 Wisconsin Avenue, Sheboygan. Family and friends are welcome at the church on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Entombment will take place in the Garden Terrace Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name for Trinity Lutheran Church or the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

To the ToMack Family: I have been a friend of Bob’s since we shared a room at college for 2 years. He was a good friend. We played basketball together and had respect for one another. He care about his family. WE kept in touch after Graduation and were friends to this day. You have my sympathy for the loss of a good man. He will have a place in heaven.
