
Mario A. Angotti, age 60, of Plymouth, WI, passed away on Thursday afternoon (June 1, 2023) at his
home following a strong and courageous battle with cancer with his loving wife at his side listening to
their favorite song.
He was born on May 2, 1963 in Gary, Indiana a son of Martha Angotti (nee Kaminski) and the late Paul J.
Angotti.
Mario attended Holy Trinity Catholic School and St. Mary of the Lake Catholic School and graduated
from Andrean High School in Merrillville, Indiana in 1981. He continued his education and attended
Indiana University- Northwest and then the University of Arizona in Tucson where he received his
Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Bachelor of Science Degree in Education Math.
On January 26, 1985 he married Andrea Marie DiNatale at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church in
Merrillville, IN.
Mario taught 8 th Grade Math in Tucson for 13 yrs before landing his dream job working with computers
in Denver, CO for Pearson. He continued to work as a computer consultant for Pearson when he and
Andi moved to WI to be closer to family in 1999.
He was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth.
Mario was an avid reader, enjoyed watching old movies, and NCIS with Andi, DYI projects, and continued
being a computer “tech support” for family and friends. He turned a 17 yr battle with cancer into a
“job” he excelled in. He used his many hours at Dr. Bettag’s clinic to help others that were going through
similar circumstances.
Survivors include: his loving wife; Andrea of Plymouth, His Mother; Martha Angotti-Kaminski of Lake
Station, IN, Four sisters; Laura (Bill) Parnell of Lake Station, IN, Lisa (Mike) Peete of Portage, IN,
Paula Angotti of Lake Station, IN, and Maria Knight of Monroe, TN. His mother-in-law:
Betty DiNatale of Carmel, IN, Two sisters-in-law; Mary Ann Wleklinski (Mike Maratik) of Plymouth,
Patty (Jim) Grady of Carmel, IN, Joe DiNatale of Crown Point, IN, Mike (Christine) DiNatale of Crown
Point, IN, and Jim (Sherry) DiNatale of Rochester NH. Also their caring exchange student; Philipp (Karen)
Muller of Madison and many special friends from church, Hardees “coffee klatch” (Pops) along with
nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father: Paul and his father-in-law: Sam DiNatale, and several Aunts,
Uncles, and cousins.
Memorial Mass will be held on Friday evening (June 16, 2023) at 5:30 P.M. at St. John the Baptist
Catholic Church in Plymouth. Father Philip Reifenberg, pastor of the church will officiate.
Visitation will be held on Friday (June 16, 2023) at the CHURCH from 3:00 P.M. until the time of Mass.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Mario’s name for Sheboygan Cancer and Blood
Specialist Center and Sharon S Richardson Hospice.

Specialist Center, Sharon S Richardson Hospice staff especially Kristin S, Amanda L, Marianne B, Kim T,
and Kaitlyn B. Also, special thanks to the St. John the Baptist Church family for all their love and support,
Mike M always willing to take Ollie (our dog) for a walk, and Mary Ann and Laura, my rocks and support.
