Tracy Dean Black, 57, of Sheboygan, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday,
May 31, 2023.
Tracy was the eldest son of Philip and Nancy Black. He spent his younger years causing
mischief and teasing his sister, Theresa. Tracy was a proud Falcon, graduating from Sheboygan
Falls High School with the Class of 1984.
On October 17, 1992 he married the love of his life Sue Lutz at St. Luke United Methodist
Church in Sheboygan. Together they raised the most wonderful children, Courtney, Samantha,
and Joseph. When Tracy became Papa to his grandchildren, Evalynn, Johan, Juliana, and
Natalia (“Baby N”) they became the light of his life and he couldn’t spend enough time with
them, creating lasting memories. Family was his pride and joy.
Tracy’s passion for auto collision repair started when he was a young boy, working by his
father’s side at the family shop Dean’s Auto Body. He was proud to own a family business with
three generations working side-by-side. He was excited for his son, Joseph, to take over the
business one day. He loved being able to take a break from the work day and enjoy daily
lunches with his father and son. On the weekends he loved going to Packer games with his
family. He also loved NASCAR and took pleasure in going to the races with his son. His
motorcycle rides with Sue behind him were the perfect getaway for them. With the wind blowing
through their hair, they could leave their worries behind. Tracy treasured the time he was able
to spend up north at the family cabin in Mosinee. It’s where he spent time hunting and being
able to be one with nature finding his peace. Tracy was a level headed, calming source for his
family. Anytime anyone needed anything, he was there.
Tracy is survived by his wife of 30 years Sue Black, his three children Courtney (Josue)
Camarillo, Samantha Black, and Joseph Black, his loving parents Philip and Nancy (Kautzer)
Black, his younger sister Theresa (Jim) Mitchell, his adorable grandchildren Evalynn, Johan,
Juliana, and Natalia Camarillo, his sister-in-law Rose Lee (Jay) Eissner, his brother-in-law Terry
(Vicky) Lutz, his nieces and nephews Wesley and Payton Mitchell, Jordan and Gabriele Eissner,
Zach, T. Jay (Jamie), and Shelby Lutz, and Trent Thorton. Tracy is further survived by wonderful
aunts and uncles, cousins, and amazing friends. He was preceded in death by his
grandparents; Art and Mildred Black and Edward and Adela Kautzer, his uncle Fritz Kautzer, his
father- and mother-in-law Edward and Betty Lutz, and sister-in-law Debra (Jim) Gibeaux.
A celebration of Tracy’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 5:30 PM at Zimmer
