Gene “Butch” E. Wolske, 48 of Sheboygan, passed away on June 1, 2023. Butch was born on August 8,
1974 in Sheboygan, the son of Gene Sr. and Kay (nee Schmitt) Wolske.
He loved metal music, new experiences, nature hikes with his son and attending church with his sister.
Family was very important to Butch and enjoyed family time.
Butch is survived by his sons, Rayven (Corrine Schultz) Wolske and Jameson Wolske, parents Gene Sr.
and Kay of Pound and his siblings: Sara (Gerald) Wolske Lutzke of Sheboygan, Renee (Craig) Heins of
Clintonville and Roxanne (John) Runge of Suring. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, aunts,
uncles, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his sister Lea Wolske, grandparents Leo and June Schmitt and Henry and Betty
Wolske, aunts Judy Green and Audrey Schmitt, uncles John Schmitt and James Wolske, nephew
Alexander Runge and cousins Steven Wolske and Michael Runge.
Private family service will be held. He will be laid to rest at Immanuel Cemetery in the town of Mosel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Grace Lutheran Church (Elkhart Lake), Fellowship Bible
Church (Pound) or Humane Society of Sheboygan County.
