A home in rural southeastern Sheboygan County sustained “severe damage” during a fire on Thursday night according to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office.
The fire struck a home at N2975 Sunset Drive, northwest of Highway 32 and County Highway “W” at around 9:30 p.m. The fire started in a garage and then spread to the main structure.
Besides the Sheriff’s Office, fire departments from the Town of Sheboygan Falls, Oostburg, Cascade, Waldo, Adell, Cedar Grove and Random Lake responded. No injuries were reported, although Oostburg and Cedar Grove First Responders were on-site as a precaution, and the Sheboygan County Fire Investigation Team is looking into the cause of the blaze.
