(WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers lost to the Blue Jays 7-2 in their series opener in Toronto on Tuesday night.
Adrian Houser got the loss after surrendering seven runs, six earned, on 11 hits over four-plus innings.
Willy Contreras provided all the offense for the Crew with a two-run homer in the first inning. The Brewers managed just four hits on the night.
Milwaukee fell to 28-26, but is still holding down first place in the NL Central.
Game two of the three-game set takes place Wednesday night. Julio Teheran gets the start opposite Alek Manoah.
