Kelly Joseph Boudreaux Jr., 80, of Sheboygan, passed away on Friday, May 12,
2023 at his home. He was born June 29, 1942 in Ft. Collins, CO to the late Kelly
and Celestina (Vela) Boudreaux. Kelly proudly served 2 tours in the US Marine
Corps. during Vietnam. He first enlisted from 1963 to 1965 and then served again
from 1967 to 1971.
Kelly was a man of many talents. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing with
his brothers. He was an excellent cook, known for his Mexican cuisine. His family
and friends loved getting together to enjoy his meals. Kelly was also a tinkerer,
and mechanically inclined. He loved to work on cars and motorcycles. Riding his
Harley was a favorite pastime of his. He had a heart of gold, and would do
whatever he could to put a smile on your face and make sure his family and
friends were happy and taken care of.
Kelly is survived by his son Travis (Angie) Boudreaux; daughters Margot (Patrick)
Deming, Marci (Nat) Clark, and Kelsey Rae Boudreaux. Also by his grandchildren
Monica Wimer, Ashley Schreiner, Kelly Boudreaux, Hannah Clark, Trevor Deming,
Travis J. Boudreaux, Maxine Clark, Jadiella, Emillio, and Emanuel; his great-
grandchildren Elena, Trevor, Mason, Addilynn, Marcellus, and Cattleya.
He is also survived by brothers Orlando and Victor Boudreaux, and sisters
Genevieve, Emma, Rosemary, and Viola. He was preceded in death by his
parents and brothers Jimmy and Stephen Boudreaux.
A celebration of Kelly’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 9:30 am
until 11:30 am at Zimmer Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center, W2132
Garton Rd., Sheboygan. Burial with Military Honors will follow at 2:00 pm at the
Southern Wisconsin Veteran Cemetery, 21731 Spring St., Union Grove. If you are
unable to join the family for Kelly’s burial and military honors, it will be
livestreamed on his obituary page of the funeral home’s website.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO
Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675 in Kelly’s name.
