DENVER, CO (WHBL) – The Colorado Rockies scored a late run to edge the Milwaukee Brewers 3-2 in Denver on Tuesday night.
The game was tied at two runs apiece heading into the eighth inning until Elias Diaz singled-home the go ahead run. Pierce Johnson came in the following inning and slammed the door on the Brew Crew.
Rowdy Tellez went two-for-four with an RBI for Milwaukee, which dropped to 18-11. The Brewers are second in the NL Central.
The series continues Wednesday night. Eric Lauer gets the start for Milwaukee opposite Kyle Freeland.
