What is usually a dependably spring-like month began early this morning with snow showers in the Sheboygan area. Although the evidence may be short-lived due to warmer ground temperatures, the air was certainly cold enough in the mid 30s to allow the now-unwelcome winter variety of precipitation to get in its last licks of the overdrawn cold season.
The National Weather Service says that we could see some minor accumulations on grassy and elevated surfaces through midday, but travel should not be impacted. And for those awaiting the real deal, spring weather is anticipated to reappear sometime in the second half of this week, and by the weekend high temperatures at least approaching normal should be back in the picture.
