Sandra Weiskopf, of Sheboygan, passed away April 27, 2023 at St. Nicholas Hospital.
Sandra was born February 21, 1951 in Sheboygan, the daughter of Frederick and Delores Klokow Hallwachs. On December 14, 1969, she was united in marriage to Daniel Weiskopf at St. John’s UCC in Sheboygan.
Throughout Sandra’s life, she held several jobs including bar tending at the VFW Hall and working as a bridge tender for the City of Sheboygan.
Sandra enjoyed spending time with her husband traveling, going to concerts together and taking trips to Oneida. Her daughters have fond memories going to Bay Beach and Fond du Lac’s Lakeside Park with them growing up. Sandra liked watching Three’s Company, Let’s Make a Deal and The Price is Right on TV. Her children recall all of them laughing so much every time they watched Three’s Company together. Sandra always surprised her children (but saying it was Santa) with enormous amounts of Christmas gifts under the tree every year. She was generous and always happy to celebrate birthdays, holidays and special occasions with her family. Shopping with her sister, Debbie and her phone calls with her brother, Ronnie are other things Sandra loved. She enjoyed listening to Elvis and caring for her pets, Chippy and Boots. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her granddaughter, Paige.
Sandra is survived by her children, Crystal (Scott) Olbrantz, Sheboygan, and Heidi (Eric) Mentink, Daytona Beach, FL; her granddaughter, Paige (Andrew Felsinger) Bohman, Sheboygan; her brother, Ronald Hallwachs; and her sister, Debra (Randal) Mueller.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Weiskopf; parents, Frederick and Delores Hallwachs; an infant grandson, Alex Bohman; and her sister-in-law, Cathy Hallwachs.
According to Sandra’s wishes, private family services will be held.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Nicholas Hospital, Progressive Nursing Home, the nurses who came to her house every day to work with her, and Christine and the staff of Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their compassionate care and support.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Sandra’s arrangements.
