SAN DIEGO, CA (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers shutout the Padres 1-0 in their series finale in San Diego on Sunday.
Wade Miley allowed just four hits while striking out eight batters over seven scoreless innings. Brian Anderson drove in the lone run on a sacrifice fly while Devin Williams slammed the door on San Diego to earn his second save of the season.
Milwaukee took three of four in the series and improved to 11-5. The Crew is still first place in the NL Central.
The Brewers open a three-game series against the Mariners in Seattle Monday night. Corbin Burnes gets the start opposite Chris Flexen.
