MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers extended their win streak following a 9-0 win over the New York Mets in Milwaukee on Tuesday night.
Rowdy Tellez, Brian Anderson and Garrett Mitchell hit back-to-back-to-back homers off Max Scherzer in the sixth inning. Anderson and Mitchell homered again the following inning to secure the win for Milwaukee.
The Brewers have won four games in a row and improved to 4-1.
The Brewers will try to sweep the series Wednesday afternoon when Corbin Burnes takes the mound. David Peterson gets the ball for New York. Pregame coverage on WHBL begins at 12:05.
