National Weather Service forecasters will be carefully monitoring conditions over much of Wisconsin – including Sheboygan County – as the ingredients for another round of severe weather come together today. While the greatest threat will be south of the I-94 corridor, there’s still a slight risk of damaging storms in Sheboygan County in several rounds; from noon until 4 this afternoon, again between 6 p.m. and midnight, and then tomorrow from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
For the Sheboygan area the greatest threat comes from possibly damaging hail and strong winds this afternoon and tonight. The chance of a tornado can’t be ruled out, although that risk is under 10 percent. Still, with the overall threat of severe weather here coming in at a “slight” two out of five, forecasters say you should have a plan in place should you need to take action.
