Judith A. LeClair passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was 84 years old.
Judith was born September 10, 1938 in Norway, Michigan, the daughter of Walter and Lorraine (LaHaie) Thomas. She grew up in Norway, graduating from Norway High School in 1956.
On December 19,1958 she was united in marriage with John LeClair in Michigan. They moved to Milwaukee where they started their family, and in 1962 moved to the Cedar Grove area.
For over 40 years, Judy worked as an administrative assistant at Brite N’ All Painting based out of Cedar Grove. She later worked at Goldsmith Painting and Cleaning in Sheboygan Falls for nearly 10 years.
Judy was an avid quilter, and an active member of the quilting group at First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove. She had enjoyed bowling, doing crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles, and above all, cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her husband John and their children: Jim (Elizabeth) LeClair of Plymouth, Tom (Connie) LeClair of Oostburg, Diane LeClair of Waldo and Mike (Jackie) LeClair of Belgium. She is further survived by 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister Kathy Thomas of MN; brother Walter “Bud” (Linda) Thomas of NE; sisters-in-law Virginia Coombs of MI and Barbara Ann (Doug) Bezier of Suamaco; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Judy is preceded in death by her great-grandson Aiden and brothers Terry, David and Dennis Thomas.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Wenig Funeral Home, 108 Center Ave. in Oostburg. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00-3:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in her name.
