Ira Nathaniel Grohskopf, age 47, passed away at his home in Sheboygan on March 24, 2023.
He was born in Sheboygan on September 5, 1975, a son of Mark Grohskopf and Kathy (Endsley)
Chappell. Ira attended Sheboygan grade schools and graduated from South High School in 1994.
Ira was an avid collector, especially of hats and stuffed animals, and was very proud of his 1950 Buick
Roadmaster.
He enjoyed visiting with his neighbors, going shopping, and could often be seen riding his bike around
Sheboygan. He was a lover of all animals and cherished his cats, Marty and Leroy.
Ira is survived by: His mother, Kathy (Charles) Chappell of Sheboygan; His father, Mark Grohskopf of
Sheboygan; His sister, Rachael (Jeff) Sass of Sheboygan; Nieces and Nephews: Emily Sass, Zoe Scheuren,
Lucas Sass, Aidan Scheuren, and Olivia Scheuren; As well as other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Hugo and Irene Grohskopf, and John and Elaine Endsley.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday (March 31, 2023) at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth.
Visitation will take place from 1:00-3:00pm, with a prayer service to follow at 3:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in Ira’s name for St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in
Sheboygan to help support their community meals and food bank program.
Family would like to thank the many people who have provided support and care to Ira throughout the
years.

Mark I am so sorry for your loss, I will never forget the talks we had at work about our children and how nice it was that they were able to go to the same elementary together. I will always be a friend to you and there is not a lot I can say to make any thing better, I am so very sorry.
