The City of Sheboygan is undergoing a city-wide review of all property assessments, and on Tuesday its schedule for hearing challenges to those assessments was announced.
The 2022-26 revaluation is required by the state and updates information last collected in 2014. Review is now underway for District 4, which involves over 3,500 properties in mostly the southwestern parts of Sheboygan. Commercial properties along with residential districts one, two and six were reassessed during the previous two years.
Reassessments will be mailed on Monday, July 10th, and will be available for inspection during open book hours from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, July 24-28 at City Hall. You’ll need to make appointments by phone or email to participate.
Appointments for Open Book can be made by phone at 920-459-3388 or by emailing the assessor at Assessor@sheboyganwi.gov
Those with questions should visit the City of Sheboygan Assessment website.
