Jerome “Joe” Triebensee, age 89, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully at St. Nicholas Hospital on March
18, 2023.
He was born on October 8, 1933 in the Town of Lyndon, a son of the late Arno and Evelyn (Hellmer)
Triebensee.
Joe attended Webster Grade School and Plymouth High School.
He served in the United States Army. On September 12, 1981, he married Evangeline “Angie” (Turgeon)
Dziuba at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Cascade. She preceded him in death on July 24, 2015.
He worked at Kohler Company from 1958 – 1996.
Joe was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Cascade, Cascade Snowmobile Club, and Quarter
Century Club for Kohler Company. He also enjoyed golf league at Crystal Lake and bowling league in
Cascade.
Survivors include his brother, David (Raylean) Triebensee; nephew, Todd (Georgette) Triebensee; niece,
Wendy (Tim) Gorman;; sisters-in-law, Jane Jorgensen, Kathleen Milczarski, Margaret (Zeke) Soto, Mary
(Marvin) Hunt, Rebecca LeRoux, Nancy (Steve) Anderson, and Rose Marie (Dan) Porter; and brothers-in-
law, Anthony Turgeon, Jon (Lana) Turgeon, and Steven (Lynn) Turgeon.
He is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
Joe was preceded in death by his wife, brother, Donald (Doris) Triebensee, and brothers-in-law, Michael
Jorgensen and Dennis Milczarski.
Visitation will be held on Thursday (March 23, 2023) at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth from
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM. Rev. Richard Bidinger, Pastor of St.
Paul’s Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Plymouth.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Joe’s name.
