SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) – Voter turnout in Sheboygan County was low for Tuesday’s spring primary. As a whole, the county saw 28% of eligible voters cast ballots – turnout in the City of Sheboygan was at 26%. We saw the highest turnout in the Village of Elkhart Lake, with 38% voter turnout.
Milwaukee County judge Janet Protasiewicz and former State Supreme Court justice Dan Kelly are advancing to the spring election. They defeated two other judges, Waukesha County Judge Jennifer Dorow and Dane County Judge Everett Mitchell.
If the race for Supreme Court Justice were up to voters in Sheboygan County alone, we would have seen a race between Janet Protasiewicz and Jennifer Dorrow…. the three top vote getters for the Sheboygan Area School District Board of Education are David Ross, Julie Kelly, and Sarah Ruiz-Harrison.
