A grandmother from Cascade was arrested on Thursday for her second drunk driving offense, and the Sheboygan County Sheriff said this time it endangered her grandchild. Deputies responded to the report of a reckless driver, swerving on the road at Highway 28 and County Road “E” around 2 p.m. When they arrived they found the car parked, all windows open, and the woman stumbling around the vehicle. Her 14-month-old grandchild was found in the back seat.
The child was turned over to its great-grandmother, while the 45-year-old Cascade woman was taken to the Sheboygan County Jail pending charges from the District Attorney’s office.
